How we protect your privacy
Meisour offer many services to help you run your business, including a platform to host your own Odoo database. As part of running those services we collect data about you and your business. This data is not only essential to run our services, but also critical for the safety of our services and all our users.
This policy explains what information is collected, why it is collected, and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect personal data primarily to provide and improve our services, and most of it is voluntarily provided by users during their interactions with our platform. Some data is also collected automatically to support system functionality and enhance user experience.
Client Contact Data: When clients engage with us—by registering for our services, requesting a demo, subscribing to a plan, or reaching out via contact forms—they typically provide personal details such as name, company name, email address, phone number, and business industry. This information helps us deliver personalized support, billing, and communication. We do not collect or store any credit card data directly; all payments are securely processed through certified third-party providers compliant with industry standards.
Job Application Data: If you apply for a job through our website or via a recruitment partner, we collect your submitted contact information (name, email, phone number) as well as your resume, cover letter, and any other documentation you choose to include. Should your application progress, we may request additional personal information strictly required for recruitment, legal, or HR purposes. We never ask for or store sensitive personal details such as religious beliefs, political opinions, or ethnicity.
Customer Database Content: When you subscribe to our service and create your own business database through our platform, all information you upload—including contacts, clients, employees, files, and communications—remains fully owned and controlled by you. We only access this data when necessary to provide support or maintenance and do so under strict confidentiality agreements. For on-premise clients who upload their database for migration or technical support, we handle all data with the same level of care and respect.
Accessing, Updating, or Deleting Your Personal Information
Client Contact Data: You have the right to access and update the personal information you’ve shared with us, such as your name, company details, or contact information. You can update your details by logging into your account or reaching out to our support team. If you wish to permanently delete your account or any associated data for valid reasons, you may contact us directly, and we’ll take all reasonable steps to fulfill your request—unless retention is required by law for administrative, financial, or compliance purposes.
Job Application Data: If you’ve submitted a job application to us, you may request access to, updates, or deletion of the information you provided at any time. The easiest way to do this is by responding to the latest communication you received from our HR team or by contacting us through our careers or general support email.
Customer Database: For clients using our services to host or manage their own business databases, you remain in full control of the content you’ve uploaded. You can add, modify, or delete any personal or business data stored within your account using your administrative access. You may also export a full backup of your database through your control panel at any time. This allows you to manage your own archiving, transfer, or local storage needs.
If you choose to discontinue the service, you can request a full deletion of your database. Additionally, any temporary databases submitted for support or upgrade services will be automatically deleted after the request is fulfilled or may be deleted immediately upon your request.
Security
At Meisour we realize how important and sensitive your personal data is, and we take a great number of measures to ensure that this information is securely processed, stored and preserved from data loss and unauthorized access.
